Remember learning about the five senses in school and how each of them affected you? Really takes me back!
- What is the most beautiful thing that you have ever laid eyes on?
- I would have to say, the ocean at night when the moon disappears. You can see the waves crashing against the shore but then further out lies a pitch black "wall" and all you can hear are the motions. It makes me feel so small. Nature is beautiful and scary at the same time.
- What is your favorite scent?
- My favorite natural scent is lavender and favorite harvested scent is Egyptian Musk.
- What is the strangest object that you've ever felt?
- I grew up in Virginia Beach, close to marine life. A jellyfish without tentacles is the strangest thing that I have felt. I was a kid and my father's best friend used to find these jellyfish and collect them for the day. He told my sister and I that they were "moonfish" so that we wouldn't freak out thinking that we would get stung. They are 90% water and harmless but they are so soft and slimy. Ick haha. Almost twenty years later and it's still fresh in my memory.
- What is something you crave for so much, that you can actually taste it from time to time from memory?
- Reoccurring craving: pepperoni pan pizza. I can taste each ingredient separately and together every time I have the craving.
- Random craving: Thai orange duck with hot chilies. I had this for the first time back in 2005 and have been looking for a similar or greater taste ever sense. It is a vivid sensory memory.
- What is the funniest sound that you have ever heard?
- The most annoying sound in the world from "Dumb and Dumber". I crack up so hard every time.
