I am apart of a network that allows me to review random things such as, food, television shows, applications for phones, etc. This network is known as Influenster. I learned about this site through Ashley's [FabEllis.com] blog and have been working on my Influenster score ever since. I was excited to learn that I was receiving the Sweetheart Vox Box and even more excited when two weeks later I checked my p.o. box and saw that it had finally arrived. If you aren't apart of the site yet, get a move on and join!
Check out the swag I aquired!
- Olay Fresh Effects Va-Va-Vivid! Powered Contour Cleansing System- I have definitely been searching for a electric exfoliating/cleansing brush for some time. This system includes a Facial Cleansing Brush and Shine, Shine Go Away! Shine Minimizing Cleanser and runs about $14.99. The brush worked excellently. It made my face feels so clean and soft. It was very gentle yet thorough. The cleanser worked well and really eliminated the shine but it left my skin feeling a bit tacky. I would use it sporadically though. Good product. 3.5/5 stars.
- Secret Clinical Strength Stress Response Deodorant - This automatically gets a 5/5 stars for me! I do not sweat easily all over my body but I do sweat a lot under my arms due to nervousness and stress. This deodorant leaves me feeling dry and fresh. I don't have to worry about sweating through my shirt AND the citrus smell lasts all day. This product is amazing. I would definitely purchase once this one runs out.
- Skinnygirl On-the-Go Bars - I received the Coco-Nut flavor. This was a nice change from the usual chocolate or fruit based on-the-go bars currently in stores. This was absolutely delicious. A great flavor, I loved the coconut and peanut butter mash-up. I also love that it didn't have that odd bland or chalky taste some bars on the market have. It definitely held me over between meals during my busy work day. 4.5/5 stars.
- Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray - I was so glad that they sent this versus the volumizing spray. I wouldn't have been able to use that one. I was definitely excited to use the sea salt spray because of the benefits of salt+liquids and their effect on loc'ed hair. The smell was very nice and strong as first but eventually wore off. It kept my locs soft and moisturized. I read a few reviews on Ulta's site and some of the cons stated that it felt heavy and greasy. I would recommend this product for people with more thicker/fuller hair. EDIT: Best on damp hair, I tried on dry hair and it left my hair feeling sticky. 3/5 stars.
Thanks for taking time to check out this review!
